Kathu Trading Mining and Technical Exhibitions

On Thursday the 22nd of June 2017 Dickinson Group of Companies; leading provider of Furnace and Industrial Services participated in the 11th edition of the Kathu Trading Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE). Objective It is generally known that the business of mining is one of the best to be involved in particularly within the mineral rich regions of sub-Saharan Africa. The global mining environment has however seen a lot of rapid changes over the years, amongst others the changes include increases in the criticality of health and safety as well as the preciousness of water and electricity. For mining operations to remain viable; mines constantly need expert consultation even in the nitty gritty of things. As a company we took the opportunity to meet face to face with clients and present solutions to some of the challenges they face on a day to day basis. The Kathu Exhibition Kathu is the iron ore capital of the Northern Cape and is home to one of the largest open-cast iron ore mining operations in the world. The Company exhibited its complete range of mining products and services with a particular emphasis on the following: • Industrial Vacuum Services • Mine Rehabilitation and Shaft Capping • Heavy Industrial and Commercial Demolition • Silo Cleaning Services • Turnkey Furnace Rebuilds • Demolition Services Outcome The exhibition was considered a success by the exhibiting team and all our stakeholders amongst others the following were the notable outcomes: • Several sales leads were generated. • Brand awareness in the area. • Networking. • Building of relationships with potential clients from the face to face interactions. • Opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of our Vacuum trucks. • More clear understanding of clients’ needs in the area. Following the successful of the Kathu MTE exhibition; Dickinson group will also be exhibiting at the Steelpoort Trading Mining and Technical Exhibitions on Thursday the 13th of July 2017.
